Single-family homes
16.3 % of 2007 revenues
By listening to our customers and observing their changing lifestyles and working habits, we've been able to design and develop products that meet their needs, while setting the standard in our industry.
The single-family home market accounts for around 20% of Kaufman & Broad's annual output, with customers divided one-third first-time buyers and two-thirds move-up purchasers.
First-time buyers are typically couples aged between 25 and 35 with or without child and a monthly income of between € 3.000 and € 4.000, who have borrowed from their employer at an interest rate of between 0 and 1%. Move-up purchasers are usually couples aged 35 and 55 with one or two children and a monthly income of between € 3000 and € 6.800, who have sold their previous home.
Kaufman and Broad delivered 968 single-family homes (EHU) in 2007.

Apartments
80 % of 2007 revenues
Kaufman & Broad has applied its capabilities and expertise to building apartments in the Paris region since 1985.
Kaufman & Broad also operates in Grenoble, Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg and Toulouse, where it is among the top five companies in the industry, as well as in Nice, Rouen, Lille, Montpellier, Nantes, Bordeaux and Bayonne.
Kaufman and Broad delivered 6,515 apartements (EHU) in 2007.

Commercial property
2 % of 2007 revenues
In nearly 40 years, Kaufman & Broad built a number of office and commercial developments, which totaled 480.000 m2 square meters of office space. However, it withdrew from this business in 1992. In 1998, the Group again decided to leverage its expertise in commercial property with a new team dedicated to risk-free projects on behalf of third parties.
In the case of restructuring and renovation projects, K&B represents the owner as general contractor. In the case of "sales before completion" contracts, K&B designs the project with the assistance of outside architects, signs an agreement to sell and seeks a tenant and an investor or a final investor. It does not purchase land or buildings until this process has been completed.
In all its commercial property programs, Kaufman & Broad focuses on meeting investors’ key concerns by maximizing the value of the investment and providing future users with an upscale, highly efficient product.
