Creation of Kaufman & Broad S.A. in France

First home devered in the Paris region

Acquisition of Bati Service and establishment of the Appartments and Offices Division

In 1985, however, it set up Kaufman & Broad Developpement to develop apartment and commercial property projects in the Paris region. That same year, Kaufman & Broad acquired Bati Service, specialized in single-family home developments for entry-level buyers.

Acquisition of SMCI

In 1997, Kaufman & Broad purchased the main assets of SMCI, which builds apartments in France's biggest cities (Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Besançon, Strasbourg and Rouen).

Acquisition of Park

Park, specialized in apartment developments in the Paris region, joined the Group in 1999.

Kaufman & Broad SA listed on the Paris Stock exchange, acquisition of Franck Arthur, Sefima, First Promotion and Sopra Promotion

Kaufman & Broad SA was listed on the Paris Bourse in 2000 (SRD - MidCac Index). During the year, four acquisitions enhanced its size and geographic coverage :
- In the Paris region, Frank Arthur in January and Séfima in August,
- In Lille, First Promotion in july
- In Toulouse Sopra Promotion in november.

Acquisition of Résidence Bernard Teillaud

In 2001, Kaufman & Broad SA pursued its strategy of developing outside Greater Paris with the acquisition of Résidences Bernard Teillaud, the largest developer and builder in the Grenoble area (Rhône-Alpes region).

Acquisition of Euro Immobilier

In 2003, Kaufman and Broad acquired Euro Immobilier in Toulouse and in 2004, Avantis Group as well as Foncier investissement and Lotibat in 2005, strengthening its presence in Aquitaine.

Acquisition of a majority stake in Kaufman & Broad by PAI Partners

In July 2007, PAI partners acquired 50.28 % of Kaufman & Broad SA capital. After the simplified TOB, PAI partners holds 79,46% of Kaufman & Broad SA capital.
